birthday boy

 He says his birthday was one of his "most beautiful. He had about 50 visitors over the course of two hours, and he was beyond thrilled. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, sent or dropped off rocks, mailed cards, brought balloons, called, texted, fixed teeth, cut cake, toasted and helped him to celebrate.

We showered him with two kinds of cake - and he loved them both. By 7:30 he was pretty exhausted, (but not too exhausted to open presents). We still can’t believe there is this much love in the world, and certainly can’t comprehend how we keep receiving it. We are the luckiest.
