 The thing I knew, but that I forgot, is how exhausting it is to do the easy part.

I don't even have a surgery scheduled yet and this is what the medical calendar looks like. 

How do people do this? 

I mean, I know how we did it, I know how I'm gonna do it, but damn, it's a full time job - and that's assuming you don't HAVE a full-time job.

Thankfully, my stuff is flexible. I can sub when I' don't have appointments, teach in the evenings, but honestly I'm tired.

There are daily appointments - some of them stretching 3-4 hours, phone calls to set up those appointments, commuting to those appointments, picking up meds, setting monitors - and they haven't even made the first cut.

Aside from that, everything is cool here, Mike is a gem, the kids are great - Noah's prepping t o direct a show, Kaia's back in Baltimore, Nika's doing a little modeling and the dogs haven't barfed on the carpet in over two weeks (which I wouldn't have time to clean up anyway - so they really are doing the most).
