other stuff
Remember when this used to be a travel blog?

No travel lately - but some of us are still doing stuff. Hereās what weāve been up to aside from the obvious:
Noah is still teaching theater and art for both high school and middle school. Heās directing the school play (Frankenstein) , and finishing writing and illustrating his second book.
Kaia is the only one of my children currently in prison. Sheās also been spending time in hospitals, schools and clinics doing intakes and assessments, because grad school is basically another phrase for be free labor. She'll be home for about 48 hours during Easter - just enough time to diagnose all of us.
Nika is spending the weekend as a foreign diplomat. Sheās representing Japan at the Model United Nations event in Minneapolis. She just got a straight A report card and is looking at a new school.
Mike is doing the most - working from my house, keeping me in check and making sure I get to my appointments since I still can't drive and it's a long walk to Rochester.
I am living vicariously through all of them, binge reading, eating chicken enchiladas and re-learning how to brush my hair. Some days are sunny, some days are sad. I spend a lot of time wondering what Rico would do, but I remember that he had sad and sunny days too, so I guess Iām doing alright.
