I almost cried today when she said this . . . almost.

I finished fixing Kooka's hair for dance class today and she gave me a big squeeze and this little speech:

"Mom, thanks for being such a good mom and doing all the mommy kinds of things like fixing my hair.  And I know you never had anybody to do it for you when you were little, so thank you for taking time and learning how so you can do these things for me.  It makes me really happy."

Which makes everything that happened to e since I was six years old, totally worth it.
