one year

Last week was Rico's fourth scan.
Four scans at every three months equals one year.
One full year since that ten-hour surgery.
Twelve months since we lived in Mayo for a week.
Fifty-two weeks of wondering if life would feel normal again.

And it does.

Sort of.

Hi fourth scan was clean.
Tiny posted it on her Instagram immediately.

I waited for the follow up with oncology.
I always wait for oncology, just to be sure.
But yes, 4 clean scans makes one whole year.
We are so so grateful.
