Drowsy

Kooka performed in the High School production of The Drowsy Chaperone. She was initially a featured performer - the only sophomore to get a part like that, so she was thrilled. Then the freak out came. Her part was a little, hmm  - how do we say it - offensive to some people. She often said, "I have to channel my inner Noah to do this part properly." (Having said that, mannnny parts of the show were offensive to some people). Regardless, she and her two partners bucked up and figured out how to make it a learning experience. After blocking and learning her music, the part was deemed too much for the audience and was cut. Not gonna lie though - I did get to see her dance a lot more this way, so I'm cool with it. Here's the highlight reel.
