I think we can all assume that the doctors at Mayo have seen some stuff. On today's rounds, they said that Rico wasn't the absolute worst reaction they've ever seen to chemo, but he was definitely near the top of the list. It's a little disheartening because there were people jogging around the unit while getting their infusions. Granted, we have no idea what type of chemo they were getting, but still . . .

 For now, Rico is home, but not ready for visitors. He's keeping his PICC line in, and the effects of the "red devil" are ebbing and flowing. Hopefully we'll all get some sleep and rally a bit soon.
