It's a good birthday.
It's not the way I usually spend it. But wrapping up stitches,  putting in new toilet seats,  and adjusting crutches is a great trade for having Rico home today. Having home makes everything a little celebration.

He's wearing a full leg brace that belts around his waist, and he can't go anywhere without a walker. He's tired, he's hurting a bit - but he's here - and he is the best present!
