Sometimes he says he's sorry that he's "being difficult", but he isn't.

He is never difficult - never, only this disease that is taking him from us is difficult. He is always our Rico.

It's been almost 4 months since we've been with the OG Rico, so we've been looking at videos and pictures and remembering those times with him. In case you need a reminder too - here is a video from the last time he took us back to his beloved NYC.

Almost speechless but filled with huge emotions. He and I agree that we were cheated, not knowing each other until my 40th year and his 39th. We never played catch, got each other into trouble (like brothers do, I guess) or even knew what each other's favorite food is. I'm just glad that we met when we did and that I'm able to share in the love you guys have and put on display for all to see! Prayers for peace and love today and a lifetime of tomorrows.
